About us

Our knowledgeable guides are well-versed in local history—and seasoned smugglers to boot. They’ll share their secrets, show you the ropes of the business and even let you try it out for yourself!

The smuggling operation:

takes place in small, exclusive teams,
is focused on the hottest contraband only,
moves the contraband both to the West and to the East,
will be carried out in virtually any weather, and
will have to escape tight customs checks.

By the end of the tour, you’ll be a true smuggling pro!

Highlights of the Smuggle Tour

The Smuggle Tour is a fun, game-like experience that will stay with you.
The smuggling crews are kept small to avoid being discovered. This means we only allow 4 to 10 adults per smuggling operation.
As part of the crew, each participant will be assigned their own task, so make sure to pay close attention to your guide’s instructions. Also choose the right tour language to facilitate seamless teamwork! The Smuggle Tours take place in Slovenian, English, and Italian.
We believe that children are the future, which is why our smuggling operations is designed so that it can also include kids and teens – all under the watchful eye of their parents, of course!
Overall, the Smuggle Tour lasts about two hours. Throughout the tour, we’ll journey across both sides of the border, smuggle contraband east and west, explore the smuggling museum, and uncover fascinating insights into life along the border in the days of yore.
